Copper prices continue their dizzying ascent, as optimism about a global economic rebound from the pandemic sparks rapid gains across commodities markets.
Copper prices (HG1:COM) on the London Metal Exchange rose as much as 2.9% to record $10,386/metric ton, bursting through the previous record high of $10,190/mt set in 2011.
Freeport-McMoRan (NYSE:FCX) +2.9% pre-market, poised to open at its highest level since 2012. |
